I read somewhere that Patrick was in China so I don't think there will be any updates the next week or so.

Even if they have just begun testing and early results are good, R&D takes time so I personally wouldn't think we will see something the next 3+ months. I'm guessing here but it would surprise me.

Hi Patrick,
I see you guys are working on a lot of new exciting stuff. The new 1512, a 1717, and 2025 motors look very promising and so does this new ESC with car software. Are you making any progress?

Normally you are far better at sharing info on upcoming products so I thought I might ask ;)

Patrick, now that the holidays are behind us, and the new year is in full swing have you had a chance to do any further work/testing with the ICE160?

I know you hate to give ETAs due to unforseen problems, but any insight on how testing is going?

I hope you can have it out by this spring.

I know what you mean, my baja is sitting here waiting for a new speedo. It's just tempting me to buy something and run it. But the snow, rain, and cold here might limit my ability to test the ICEs limits for a while.

If you need any help testing, I have a beefed up E Revo, 8S Lipo setup with a variety of motors/gearing, ready to drop in and run.

Thanks for the update.

i can do 12s in a 1/8 10lb brushless CEN Matrix.

pick me! lol. i've had pretty good luck with my MMM escs and i would be more than happy to beta test a 12s esc on my buggy.

i would even be willing to buy an eagle tree data logger if i was picked as a beta tester.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

You wouldn't need an Eagle Tree -- the ICE has built-in datalogging.
