Ballooning depends on the tire. I am not familiar with all types of tires so I can't really help you there. But, what I do sometimes is pick the vehicle up so no tires are touching the ground and give it full throttle. Then I try to estimate the amount of ballooning that way. And use the added radius as the ballooning value:

And I was actually going to remove the charger data. It's difficult enough to keep track of all the CD/tranny ratios and motors. The charger data really has no use there except to auto-fill the fields in this page, and that list is really out of date now. ESC data would be even more irrelevant except to be able to compare specs side by side. It would be much easier to have this database driven, but as this is cleint-side script driven, data entry is cumbersome.

From holmes

10t = 6526 rpm/volt
15t = 4317 rpm/volt
17t = 3753 rpm/volt
20t = 3216 rpm/volt
21t = 3082 rpm/volt
23t = 2790 rpm/volt
25t = 2588 rpm/volt
35t = 1565 rpm/volt
45t = 1210 rpm/volt
55t = 987 rpm/volt
65t = 837 rpm/volt

What motors are those numbers for? Any normal 540 size motor? That is if I decide to add them.

lol, well, I'm not gonna count them! I use tooth counts to prevent rounding errors as much as possible.

The stock Berg ratio assumes a 12T pinion. Not sure about the other gears.

Hopefully you haven't updated it yet. I am looking for the Losi MRC ratios right now...

Edit: Copy and pasted from RC-Driver:
Quote:
The internal transmission ratio is 7.59:1. With the stock 60 tooth spur gear and 14 tooth pinion, the transmission has an overall ratio of 32.5:1. The ring and pinion in each axle have a ratio of about 2.64:1. This gives the Mini Rock Crawler an overall ratio of 85.96:1.

Nope, no updates until I get the data requested in this post. I usually post my intent to update and wait a couple/few days for the responses. Seems to limit the late requests...

OK, I finally made an update:

- Added several brushed motors.

- Fixed LST/LST2 transmission ratios.

- Added LST/LST2 FOC transmission ratio.

- Added Hot Bodies D8 differential ratio.

- Added a note for the old RCM slipperential stating V1 is discontinued.

- Added Mod 1.5 gear pitch.

- Added Losi MRC transmission ratio.

- Removed battery charger data table, selection box, and all code relating to pre-set battery charger information.

- Added new feature to the Power Calculator page. Once the user enters the data into the form and calculates the power figures, it will also provide a table listing estimated pack capacities to get the same runtime at different voltages.

- Removed the Sky & Technologies link (Quark) since the address is no longer active.

- Removed the Beta alert on the BL Parameter Comparison page.

Lot of updates
I have a 775 Titan Motor in my 3906
Do I use the 10T brushed 6526 Kv rating ?

105.35 mph (169.23 km/h)

The Titan 775 is closer to 1300 Kv I think

I'm not sure. Those brushed motors were added by request and I believe they are normal 540 size. Most likely, a larger motor with the same turn count will have a lower kv, but exactly what, I don't know.

:sigh: Lol, I did ask everyone for any other suggestions so that the update would include everything. But every time I post an update, there's always one more thing.

I generally shy away from adding just any motor. This site is not affiliated with RCM, but it IS meant for the members here, so I try to stick with what Mike had. Besides, the motor list is getting VERY long. At some point, it will become very cumbersome. But, if demand is high enough, I guess I could add Novak stuff. Post things like kv, size, etc and I'll add them.
