I know how you feel Bryan. Mike, is it safe to say I will be the first in Canada with your kit?

I got mine yesterday, installed it last night at work. I got to try it out today and it feels very close to my 8ight buggy. I do need to get some bolts to finish bolting everything down. Mike can you tell me what size and thread pitch the holes are on the parts you tapped and the inserts in the tray?
Other than needing to get these bolts, it looks like a great setup.
thanks Mike

quick update on the 17mm hub conversion...the ofna 81175 's will fit but you have to drill out the center (1/4 drill bit) AND you have to grind down the back of the hub (about 1mm) so that the pin holes will line up....and it will look like this:

Size:	46.5 KB
ID:	8752

however, the threads on the hubs will only accept the threads on the wheel nuts that came with the set.....i have a set of losi/AE/and mugen 17mm hex nuts and they don't fit...seems like the thread on these hubs are wider...

sooo....if you want to keep using your 17mm wheel wrench and not have to deal with a 14mm nut and a washer to keep the wheel in place....this modification is an option although the latter (17mm hex hub with 14mm nut and washer) is cheaper than the ofna hex hub mod...but the ofna one should be stronger...

The motor mount uses m3 on the top and m4 on the bottom - the screws for these should have been included. The battery tray requires 3 m4 screws and 1 m3 screw, which should be available from the stock parts IIRC.

thanks for the info. The two bolts for the batt.tray that go through the old nitro motor mount are a smaller counter sunk head (m3?) that uses a tapered washer to make them flat. the holes in the tray have a bigger insert(m4?) so i guess i will have to get some button heads for them. I tried the stock bolts in some of the holes and it felt tight after only one thread in. So i stopped, didn't want to strip any threads.

Well, i just checked the screws that came with the kit and the ones that came with the Ten-t and they are different. My ten-t has standard threads, not metric. All i need is the 4 that mount where the nitro motor mounts bolted down. No biggie i'll stop and pick up some bolts before the weekend.

Finally got all of the pieces together! My set-up "was" Castle MMM,Tekin 1700kv untill the smoke from the brand new esc.? Yes i will be contacting castle tommorow.I was forced"DONT BRAKE MY ARM" to install a MMP that i just so happen to have in my 1/16 revo instead of tearing apart my 8ight-t 2.0.My opinion on what TEAM LOSI,and MIKES conversion from one to ten.100% "screw ten".This is deffinetly 1/8 scale performance,at 1/10 scale size.Job well done to all, except CCCCCCCC. I will contact tommorow . S$!t Happens.. love castles controllers but also love tekins wide variety of motors.Very nice conversion. So what are you going to sell me next Mike?

Thanks, you will be impressed. On the track it's better than my 8ight buggy, and bashing is just incredible. The zombie max tires work surprisingly well.

I hope they do a Ten-B, that would be the perfect replacement to their current 1/10th 4wd buggy.

Yeah, the tires do work surprisingly well. Too bad they aren't glued well from the factory. Speaking of which, why do premounts suck anyway? I mean, if you're gonna glue a tire, it only makes sense to do it right.

Anyway, are you going to keep those irritating hubcap thingies on there?

One thing I did that I didn't show in a picture in this thread is to make a new rear toe plate. I didn't like the large toe angle and the way the rear arms swept forward. Making a new rear toe plate reduced the toe, brought the arms back (and aligned the shocks better), and also helped reduce wheelies.
