So did you run the 5000mah pack in the Ten-T? or just the Revo?
these are 2 different trucks with different power requirements.

So is anyone having troubles with the spur? Just wondering how it's holding up? I just bought a roller with Mike's kit installed and the spur that was on there was pretty messed up (missing teeth, etc.) He included a new one. Gear mesh was probably not set right, but was just wondering.

The Delrin Mike uses for the spur is hella-strong and durable, so as long as the mesh is set right, you will never have to worry about it. plus, you can dye it any color.

Did you happen to buy the roller with 17mm adapters with black rimmed buggy wheel?...if you did it was mine...i stripped my spur gear because the top set screw holding the motor down kept backing out...either I need to put locktite on the screw or the motor was waaay to big/heavy. Anyways, the gear mesh would get messed up everytime the motor moved...I ran it with mmm/2200k combo on 4s and it was almost too much.

I can attest to the durability of the spur. My top screw loosened and I heard that horrible, unmistakable sound of skipping gears. Fearing I had stripped at least the tops of the spur teeth, I was amazed to find almost no damage. Still running with that same spur. Not saying everyone would be so lucky, but that's pretty tough for nylon or whatever material Mike used.
Mike did include a knurled washer (can't remember the exact term), but it can still loosen if not torqued right, but that's nothing a little blue lock tite can't fix.

When it comes to ball-bearings, there are only two options...
[ 1] If you need great bearings and don't have a lot of cash to spend, Avid RC Bearings are the ONLY way to go! Each bearing is only $1, and they are the best non-ceramic bearings money can buy. You have three types to choose from; Halo dual metal-shielded, Halo dual rubber-shielded, and Revolutions one side metal-shielded & one side rubber-shielded. Personally, the Revolutions are the best way to go, as they give you the super-low friction of metal-shields as well as the super-great sealing of rubber shields. When using Revolutions, you put the rubber-shields toward the outside to repel dirt and grime, while the metal-shields are inside where they are not exposed to anything...they are the perfect bearings!
[ 2] If you want the best bearings available, and aren't restricted by a tight budget, Acer Racing Ceramic Bearings are the ONLY way to go! You can buy the bearings in complete kits for almost any vehicle, or you can buy the bearings individually. I personally run Acer Racing Ceramic Bearings in all of my RC vehicles, and even use them in a few non-RC applications.
