I ordered 3 of them last Thursday under the same mentality (they said they were out of stock, but I ordered anyway). I assume I'll get them now, but I haven't received my order yet. I'm tempted to order more even though its not free shipping to Canada.

I'm suspecting that anything still on the garage sale page can be ordered despite their status. Anything that is sold out for good will be removed from the page. For example, they took the Hummer H2 body off the garage sale page.

i got my order today (technically yesterday; it is 1:00am here right now)

HOLY SHIT!! the hotbodies tires i ordered are huge! they inspired me to put the extended chassis plates back on my flux. they are the perfect size for a xl length savage. they are very heavy though. i dropped from 22/47 to 18/47. hopefully that is enough to compensate for both the extra size and weight.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

i already stripped out a hex on my new tires

they are only 14mm, so i put a little jb weld between the hex piece and the wheel hex and i didn't use enough. maybe i can get some thick CA and cut a few slots in the wheel hex and glue the hex piece in place.

edit: also, i snapped a HPI super duty front driveshaft today as well. the tires weigh a TON and the truck must weigh at least 16lbs. nose wheelies from braking hard really takes a toll on the front drivetrain.

I'm jealous.
Anyone know if they will work in an ESavage?

I might pick one up to see if they will. Doubtful though, maybe when my eBay listings end..

You will most likely have to swap the ring gears or get the matching pinions but other than that they should work fine, you can ebay the ring gears for the price of the diffs easy, these are the diffs i used in my crt x1 project.

Anyone else have a problem during the check out? I tried to go throught the paypal process but it kept coming back saying something about confirmed address and wanting additional credit cards. Paypal has my credit cards and back account already. I've been confirmed at paypal for a few years now and verified for whatever that is worth.

They must have changed it. I ordered with my PayPal account. I never updated the bank information after I changed bank accounts, so it only has my credit card on it. I also had it sent to an unconfirmed address.

However, I haven't received my package yet, though I expect it to be at the soonest next week since I'm in Canada.
