8ight is an easy conversion and a great buggy. Easy to find a 8ight 1.0 roller for around 100 bucks too. I also have a converted duratrax raze that is my beater buggy. Takes everything that I can throw at it. Had a caster but parts were iffy to find.

Thanks for all the input Fellas, much appreciated! I would go for the Losi but my LHS shop doesn't stock any parts for them. I am gonna go MUGEN. I think I'll go for the regular kit and not the M-spec so I can learn how everything goes together as well.

Good choice! The mugen should be a bit stronger and ligher than the Losi. I'd go for the Tekno conversion.
I own a Losi, but my next buggy will be a Mugen or an Xray.
