So for a set of 4 Komodos, the weight would be a little over 14oz. and the new Bow Ties about 17.5oz. I guess I would sacrafice having the extra 3.5oz for the better tread life that the bow ties would give.
Pro-Line says that the Bow Tie "lasts virtually forever" but I have heard that the Komodos are not so lucky. Would this be an acurate statement?

Yeah, it would gain some stress on the drivetrain though.

I really hope to have my FLM Pede up and running by this weekend. It will have the following:

FLM Extended Chassis Kit, regular length arms
FLM Caster Blocks, Nitro Spindles
RPM Rear Carriers
FLM Chassis Braces
FLM CNC Tranny Case
Steel Diff Gear
Traxxas Aluminum Idler
Traxxas Delrin Top Gear
MIP CVD's
Maximizer Maxx to Stampede Adapters
RPM Stablemaxx Titan Wheels
Panther Komodos
Evader Pro Hard Anodized Shocks F&R
Blue Bird BMS-660MG Steering Servo
Feigao 8s
BK 9920

I plan to start by running it on 6-9 GP3300's and hopefully get a 3S Lipo in there in the near future. I'd probably already have the Lipo on the way had I not just bought another Mamba powered RC18T. Once I finally get my tranny bearings and shocks in I'll get some pics of it put together. Every time I think I have everything I think I need, I find something else I have to buy...like this week it's connectors for the ESC/Motor. Good luck with your buildup...I've lost weight while building mine...my wallet got lighter. :027:
