3500w is the power of a 1520 ........... 4500w is for a 1717 ;)

Seems more like it's at 4000w compared to similar motors (in weight.).

Anyhow, you can't run the 1717 at 9s +..

The 1717 won't last on anything over 45,000rpm.

The rotor will blow apart.

Make sure you film it when it does. :-)

2200kv - buggy or truggy. 2650kv has been used on 6s a lot, but isn't necessary.

Not meant for 6s use, especially not in a heavy truggy. You can get away with it in a lighter buggy, but the 2200kv has more torque and can be geared up for the lower KV number.

What vehicle are you putting it in? If its light enough, the 2650kv can work.

I put one in my rc8be on 5s geared for the moon, only for high speed runs. Hit 78mph before having to slam on the brakes do to lack of runway.

atm with my hyper 8 set up using 3s, it weighs at 3.5kg, 7.72lbs, would that be light?

I'll have to weigh it when I get home, but its close to 10lbs with the 5s 5000mah lipo.

oh, wow, lm thinking of locating my motor facing the front so l can put my 2 8000mha 3s either side, but l really want to put my servo on the side, has any1 done this before with their H8?

weighed the buggy, having a 11.1v lipo either side of the mud guards, weighs 9.1lbs, 4.12kg (would that be great for the 2650kv, and with the castle motors, can you easily change the connectors on them, l don't have bullet connectors on my ESC)

I would not change the motor connectors. They are awesome. You need to change your ESC to match.
