flexteck isnt anything special really. its just titanium stock replacement arms...the ue racer-x has a true trac design which elminates the rear turnbuckles...flm hybrids are gonna be nice, but they arent like the sm parts for the maxx yet again. the vbs has a different kickup in the front which alters the castor..thats just one thing about them. the flm although nice, and my pick, doesnt have that. there just a stock replacement type. they dont alter the handling.

If I was building one or the other and didn't already own alot of parts i'd go with the Revo(G2R).Just because i think it would turn out cheaper to build a simlarly capable truck.Especially for racing,alot cheaper to have a spare car/lots of spares just because you can get away with more stock parts.

That said, don't forget you will need your own alum spare's during racing. If you bend a flm/ ue arm, chances are nobody will have a spare. So you got to check for part's availebility too.

Yea, and UE replacements arent cheap! But the chances of breaking one are pretty slim.

You'll be bending steel pillowball's like crazy on a sm. That's the weakest point. So unless you want to drill out the stud's, stock up on ue pb's since they got a hex in the stud so they can be easely removed.

Hey man go with what ever you want but they are right i had the same choice to make on g-maxx maxx, or the g-maxx revo roller. I went with the Maxx because i alreadly had 200$ bucks of stuff for my E-Maxx project before i found out there was an erevo. But now if i did not already have that cash invested i would hands down buy the revo kit. If you got the cash you can make a max cool because it is a maxx. But they are right you can buy the G-Maxx revo roller for rc monster throw a BL combo in it and take it to the track and bash it and very rarly break anything (when both maxx and erevo are stock revo is twice a durable -Especially no worrys abouut those maxx crappy bulkheads on a revo-" If i were you i would go with the g-maxx revo roller rather than the e-maxx with g3 suspension and xbrace chassis. (both xbrace chassis and g3 suspension cost $512 revo roller costs $595, for only 100 bucks more and it handles better, more durable, and not to mention all you need is electronics and wheels were is the maxx build up would require another 500 bucks to bash and perform as well as the revo) So pretty much you are getting a better truck for less money and anybody at your hobby shop will constantly be hovering over it because most people dont have erevos. Good luck with you choice. Either way should be happy with what you decide as long as you are a good driver and you like your truck you can win with pretty much any car. Just my opinions -My vote is revo- (but i would not trade my maxx for anything)

Didnt Mike win every race he entered with his G/Emaxx at the Rc Monster bash? If the G/Revo could use 1/8 scale diffs, a slippernatural, and wasn't so nose heavy it would win hands down.

These type of X vs Y threads always turn out this way. It's too subjective to really say. Now, if the title was: "Tyco vs Traxxas", that would be far easier to argue. :027:

Either truck is good, although I'd pick the Revo since I am used to it and it's just too cool. :) IMO, each can be made to perform very well, but I think it would be cheaper to get the Revo to a point where it is an ultimate racer.
