I'm sure if you ask Strobe that he can give you an adress or something where you can get the material to make them pad's. Mike should be able to make those aswell.

The new slipper is off a revo. I have heard of people modding it to a emaxxtrans.
Peace!

So will that new slipper that traxxas uses on the revo and maxx 3.3 work on the emaxx shaft? It looks like a better setup than before and I haven't fried mine on my tmaxx 3.3
My brushless maxx in the hands of my 6yr old son is... bad. My brushless maxx in my hands... even worse!!!!

No, it tried a Revo setup on mine and the hole was to large for the shaft. Maybe the Rustler setup will work if they didn't change the top shaft in the tranny. You could even use the Mod1 Revo spurs as well.

Looks to me like the top output shaft has changed on the new rustler to work w/ the new slipper setup.
My bet is, just hang out for a little while longer. Traxxas has just released updated versions of almost every vehicle in the last few months. All except the e-maxx. My bet is it'll be next and its probably right around the corner. I'm sure whatever the new version is, it'll have the new style slipper also, and it'll be easy to upgrade an old e-maxx tranny for the new slipper. Maybee have to change out the input shaft for a new style one.
Not to change the subject ...Who wants to bet on a version of the e-maxx having a toned down Novak-HV RTR from the box within the next year.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I think within the next year Traxxas will release some type of E-Revo. I mean, come on....Starcream pretty much invented the center diff for a Revo and now Traxxas made one...there was a guy several years back that took a T-Maxx and made it electric...they hired him and he helped design the now E-Maxx....the E-Revo will be soon...I also think that the Bandit, S-Maxx, Sportmaxx, and several others are gonna be overhauled.

So back to the thread, have we heard back on anything related to the Strobe and the possibility of getting the pads for it. I don't have a strobe yet, never got around to buying one, and now I'm wondering if I should get one.

well, strobe is better than RRP, but the RRP is better than stock imo. You can adapt the ofna spurs, so it fits a 51t mod 1 ofna spurr.

SO i recieved my RRP slipper, got it installed easy enough, now I'm just waiting for Mike to send me my new gear. I mistakenly ordered a Mod 1 gear, not realizing that it was the wrong pitch to match up with the Emaxx Spur. Being that I can interchange gears on the RRP, Is there a stock gearing setup that I can order for the RRP that will match the Mod1? I'm asking this because I havent heard anything from Mike since I placed the order (early last week), so I dont know if he'll get it to me anytime soon.

I think I've heared from Mike that he's working on a slipper system for the Maxx himself. I'm not very sure, though.
The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!
