The guys are really nice! and local! so I think I'm going to pick up a set to support my local companies! I guess lunsford is local to me too!

I'm considering a set of these for the front. The stock lower arms seem to have a break point where the hinge pin slides through the lower arm. Perhaps w/ a pair of FlexTek on the front the energy will be distributed more evenly between the titanium hinge pings, the lower arm, and the bulkhead...thus preventing lower arm breakage.

Anybody else have the same or similar experience w/ lower arm breakage on your Maxx?

And yes, I'm a relative n00b (*the* contributing factor). But getting more smooth on the jumps everyday... ;)

I have about 4 maxx's across the garage and then I just got a Revo lmao. Its been crazy this weekened. I'll have them before sunday.

On the BYT pictures, they look more black, yours look a lot more like titanium!

Just let him drive it.. Its about the same punishemnt if i look to his g-maxx lowerplate.. (yeah, dishwasher.. Right...) It's pure abuse.. ;)

No, but my friends think that it's needed to pull 10G in a spaceship, when your doing something regullar on a saterday afternoon..

Making a water rocket was nice, on 9 bar (120psi) suddenly the idea of an 200 bar (2666psi) waterrocket was born.. I'd try to explain that it would become liquid and rather dangerous.. (COOL LIQIUD IS NEEDED RIGHT??!?!) Don't even think trying talk this plan out of his head.. It's got to be tested, no matter what the theory is, its the practice that counts..

4 times stronger than aluminum? so what happens to the hinge pins and chassis after an accident when the arms don't break?
Or said another way

with these arms where is the weak link? I remember watching mike removing a bent hinge pin a while back and it wasn't pretty.

Titanium is much more flexible than aluminium and can absorb impacts. Its basically like a very very very strong nylon...

BTW I used my Ti a-arms all last week and nothing but success. The arms work great!
