LOL, thats' one of the things I don't like about Nitro! Last summer I was just a bystander at the LHS races a few times and the amount of smoke from a dozen buggies was giving me a headache. And the noise! It's like an angry swarm of mosquitos on steroids!

Funny how what one person hates, another person likes...

I have three right now. My first one is the current G2R that i race and bash, the 3.3 was my second one and its a pure racer with a center diff and rear brake, with those exceptions and a little porting its completely stockwith 40 series crimefighters for tires, I have a third revo that was supposed to be a small block killer but it got too light and became a wheelie machine, so i decided to make it a CF G2R later when i get to it

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

I find Nitro a challenge, not only do you need to run it hard, you got to tune it as well

Hey, BG I know what you are saying... that's one of the bad things about making a BL 1/8 for racing: you have to put up with the carnage that is 1/8 scale :)

I kinda like the sound and smell of a lone nitro (if it's mine :) )but a whole track full of them can be overwhelming....

Yeah, a single Nitro is OK. It's when you get a bunch that it starts to get aggravating.

GD: (BTW and off topic) Why is it that many of the buggies seem to get stuck so easily?? I'm sure if the driver was good enough to avoid getting in that predicament, it wouldn't be so bad, but whenever I'm just practicing at the LHS track, it seems that they get stuck on those PVC rail thingies a LOT! The Revo hardly ever seems to get stuck unless it's on its lid. :) I'm just wondering if I should expect that too when I get my buggy done because I don't feel like walking up and down the drivers stand incessantly! :) Is it because of the center diff??

Yeah... I'd say the center diff is part of it. But your Revo also has a little more ground clearance to work with :)

That's true too. Plus, reverse helps too I bet.

OK, sorry for the hijack; Now back to your regularly scheduled thread. :)
