Not sure about the wheelbase or anything though.

THAT Is SICK !
good find, thank you
I wonder how much that body would cost ? at my rate it will be a long time before I can mold a body.

oh I posted that? Your making great progress on your project and I am just about ready to jump into the fifth scale scene the only question is Baja 5t conversion or 1/5 scale on road conversion its so hard to decide. Off road monster or on road speed demon decisions decisions.

Yea I hear ya, now that I have my on road and still tuning it I ask myself if I should build a off road one, but, I have a short course truck I just built which is a kick to drive, dont drive it much, no place to. so I'm happy with them all.

So i finally made the move to build an on-road. I decided to get away from using an emaxx and start with a truggy base. Pretty much i kept the truggy center and changed the arms cvds and shocks out to buggy ones. This pretty much saves me the time/money from having to get hybrid diffs for my emaxx as well as having to CNC parts. Its currently only powered with a novak hv6.5 on NiMh. I have a Mamba System in the works but I need to get the lipos before I run it on the mamba.

With its current setup probably 45 tops but even know torque is great. Can't wait to get the Mamba in there.

For the future I hope to add a kyosho gt 2speed gear box in there.

By the way heres the link to my build http://www.beatyourtruck.com/forum/s...-7-scale-HB-D8

Also where do you run your 5th scale? I heard that down in Santa Clara there's a group of people that are running NITRO Inferno's. We should go show em who's boss lol with a brushless rig we can smoke em in every aspect.

Updates
Needing new shafts . ( keep breaking)

Installed my custom adjustable brake button on the DX6i (silver tab on the grip behind the throttle)

NEW Tires !
Reinforced the chassis
New upper chassis rails
New Aluminum motor plate
Moved the Motor and battery to left side for better weight distrubution

Results were great !
I was able to drive it with the huge body on it and reach 58mph before it STARTED to FLY up into the AIR !

what happen I think is the rear stub axle broke which could have aided in the front lifting. Happened so fast the front was an easy 10 inches off the ground before I released the throttle

Just before new mods were done
Added a 2 way momentary button with a switch so I can select if I want momentary on or off.

After Mod, the new momentary for mixing activated by my thumb located below steering behind black 3 way switch behind the trigger

You could try to install LST XXL shafts on there. They might not be the exact length you need but you could modify them like you did for your center shafts. You probably would be able to reinstall the original output cups in your diffs. You're pretty good with that drill press so the axle carriers have to be modified just by enlarging the hole for the outer bearing to just under 16 mm. Then you can press a 8X16 bearing in there. The inner bearing is 15X21 and you can press that in the carrier with a 5/8'' socket wrench and a vise. It slips right in.

I'm not sure about your wheels, I went back to try to make sense of how they are secured on but I can't figure it out. I don't know if the wheels use a hex drive and how big it is. I think I read something about them having a square drive?

No brain, no headaches.
