Jordan,

That one good looking truck my friend. Those drive shafts looks awesome. Keep them away from lincpimp though, he might use them to do strange things . I love the center motor concept and most of you know that. I hope to see a video soon of your beast running.

I noticed that, but the tyres came already glued, so i just put em on for some pics. I might fix them up tomorrow...

I'm going to put a pair on the display SM. The gmaxx will stay as is, for now . The revo gets most of the runtime nowadays too and my son is complaining so I'm building a brushless revo for myself.
ooh, BL revo, going to go Gorillamaxx again?

So did you get your MGM ??

I think it looks better with no body on it (just outstanding craftsmanship ) but if you must cover it, I would defiantly use the truck body.. My two cents sir..

So how's your neck healing ?? are you all back to 100% again

Thanks the for the pics dude your build is just so bitchen to look at.. I cant wait to read about it after it's first major beating.. LOL that should make for fun reading..

Have a great one Sir..

Shaun.

Not yet, i e-mailed Mike on Friday, and he's still saying any day now...

Definately has to be the truck body with the UE rims, but im looking at it now with the truggy body and Wabash's and i can't decide which is better. I guess its good to be able to change the whole look of the truck, keeps me from getting bored.

Neck's not 100% yet, i'll find out at the end of November when i have a final checkup, have to wait until 3 months after the operation to see how everythings healed up. Still just bumming around 'recovering'

I'm thinking about getting a HPI Baja wing to put on the back just for fun, got some credit at amain i might as well burn

thanks again Shaun

Wow. It looks stunning. I think wabash rims with the truck body look the best.

Well i did it, just put my order in for the MGM 28025, so it should be here by the middle of next week. I couldn't find the CC 6.5mm bullets in stock anywhere so i just opted for the 5.5mm plugs, i think they should be able to hold up, fingers crossed. Updates to come as soon as it arrives!!

Hey Jordan
I have one of those MGM 28025 in my STRR running my plettenburg Maxximum. It is a really good speedy and can handle a battering. Mostly because my driving is really bad. I will say that as soon as you get it the first thing you should do is download the latest SW and controller program from their website. I am waiting for Mike to get the 25035 speedy. I have a spare C50 lying around that would be perfect for 8s

Nope, not connected yet. Those 5.5mm connectors that i bought with the 'she'll be right' attitude ended up too small to fit on the motor wires. I have managed to find some 6.5mm connectors and they are on their way from Tower. Im a bit frustrated that its been pushed back again, but when i get these that will definately be everything i need to get this running... i hope .

I'm also working on a mount for the ESC, as there isn't much free space with the motor mounted in the centre. Its really simple but should look trick when its done, just need a package from Gmaxx to arrive to finish it up.

Here are some pics of the ESC while im at it, i soldered the battery connectors on and heatshrinked the parallel harness on as well. All i need is the gold plugs and im ready to go.

Hopefully the stuff will come by the end of this week, ...damn international shipping transit times

Not quite 100%, probably 85-90% though. The neck brace is off and im just getting used to using my muscles and things again. Won't be until the end of November when the spinal specialist can sign me off. Im still not allowed to play sports or go back to work yet...

Now for the bad news, i made a huge screw up I was shortening the battery wires, and one screw up led to another and as you can see, they are only about 3cm now, nowhere near long enough to get a Deans connector on. So i've ordered some more 6.5mm gold bullets and am just going to make some wire extensions. Seriously i have just about had enough of the setbacks on this truck, just one thing after another pushing 'D-day' back

I will post some updates when things get here, but im afraid it will be a week or two still until its running. maybe i shouldn't have been while doing the wires. ( i wasn't really)
