Most definatly. Next run ended badly I was headed towards the left side curb and I over corrected or something and hit the other right side curb. More damaged but fixable body looks terrible but still holding its shape. I think the biggest issue I am going to have is getting this truck to go down the track straight. I am going to lock the front diff solid and try to make some vertical stabilizers for the back.

I built a new wing out of lexan with huge verticle stabilizers. Because the 1/8 scale buggy wing has too much down force. See pic. Since I didnt have time to test it I would have to test it at the ISC event. First pass: I managed 70 mph with no back up speed so its still was unofficial It had Lost of tire spin when I got on it and it was hard to control. Second pass: I lost control some how and drove on the opposite side of the timing lights and crashed so no speed. Found out that my cheap little gyro had failed and I had no steering at all. No Wonder!! Third pass I managed a 79 mph pass officially bacck up with 78. Forth pass I managed a 81 mph officially and everybody was tripping. I gave a little show and poped a wheely with some ti sparks also they all loved that. I think I am getting better at driving it. Let see if I cant get it too 100mph tomorrow. Better driving and 2 more higher gears might be the ticket.

Nice job. And good thinking on that wing - sprint car style.

Way to go River. Your truck is looking great, and your efforts are also looking pretty darned good as well. I like the wing design, and that truck looks awsome the way you have it setup. Good luck with the 100mph trials. I really do hope to see you reach your goal. Good effort man.

Here is a vid of my 79 mph pass and a vid of Nic Case's car. I wish my car goes ae straight as his. I know I could get a 100 mph if it did.

At first today didn't go too well, after I geared up to a 30 pinion and 36 tooth spur I made a not very straight pass. I almost went through the lights side ways and managed a another 79mph pass. It was good but I expected more with gearing I was running. I also burned up the esc on that run. I went ahead and soldered some connectors on to my brand new esc and tried it out and it wasn't working properly. So I robed another esc out of my g-4 UE maxx geared down and took it out and tested it and burned it up in less than 5 minutes. That was it, I was done for the day and couldn't beat my 81.75 mph run. But guess what the guy from Florida didn't beat my pass either he only managed a 77mph pass.

I won the open wheel class and also hold the current ISC world record. Not to mention probably the fastest e-maxx based truck ever! I am sure the truck could of gone faster but equipment failure because of extreme gearing. Traction issues when I rolled into the throttle the tires broke loose and the truck pulled hard to the right side causing me to correct all the way down the track were my limiting factors. I actually needed more test time to get it dialed in and I am sure I would of broke a 100mph. Overall I did win and I am very happy about that. I want to thank all of you that supported me in this venture  . Heres some pics.

Congrats - 11.16.2009, 02:59 AM

Very nice RiverMaxx. Congratulations on your victory. I have to ask are you going to work on your project and go for it again next year? I am sure that if you make some adjustments and improve your overall setup that you can and will break the 100mph mark... I would hate to see you give up after a few setbacks and let some other shmuck do it before you have a chance to really set your beast loose. All in all it seems like you had a good time putting your vehicle together and finally running it in the forum that you built it for. Coodos for your efforts and nice work. Plus your truck is not only fast, but it really does look nice to.

I am going to send in my esc's and once I get them back I am going to set the car up a little better and break my 81.75 mph record not officially of course. Everyone their saw the potential of this truck and know could go alot faster. I was set back about 500 feet and only gave it the gas about 30 feet from the traps. Biggest issue was controlling the truck under power. It wanted to steer differently when under heavy throttle. This set up is making so much power the foam tires were breaking loose also causing it too drift. I am thinking now a caped rubber tire would of been better and give me more straight line and side traction but how much those going to cost too make .

Too be honest alot of records were broken this year and alot of 100mph hats were given out also. Results should be posted on the ISC forum pretty soon.
