Wallot, did you repower the controller after the update and before switching it to the cc02 and controller software? Thanks

Hey quick question... Can I safely run 6s lipo on an MGM16018 using the built in switching bec?
I have another bec i could use but I would rather just use the built in one if it doesn't fry the MGM. Thanks!

yes you can. mgm has a switching BEC, but why not to offload the ESC using external BEC that takes no space and requires simple soldering :)

Because I am a tight wadd and would like to sell the BEC!
I guess I better just keep it and use it to be safe.

For the $10.00 you'll have for it, you must keep it
