I wish
You would think the game would know how to handle the splits. They are not that uncommon, and they seem to have a good number of players, so having to go into every acct everytime there is a split could be a fulltime job.

If they don't, keep on playing and enjoy the bonus.

I've emailed them 5 times now on the price issue and so far no resolution. I'm thinking its not going to get fixed...
I just now looked at the market for today, and it was ugly there. WTF, big freakout on the Wells downgrade. Not a good sign. Previous worries proved unfounded, but IDK. We've had such a good recovery its had to end/slow before too long. Maybe the jig is finally up.
What I've been hoping to do is make it thru to early Nov when PNX has earnings release and hopefully some news. After that I don't have too many plans other than some conservative oils. I'd like to head to cash for the most part before too long and wait it out a bit. Made a quite a bit of $, and want to keep it and not get greedy chasing the last 10% down a hole. hmm....

They prpbably have no clue how to fix it.
I'll be holding my positions through good or bad news. I really don't know when and if the markets will go downhill, but people will be taking some profits like always and now they're prpbably worried as well from what had happaned. More and more companies are still getting rid of hard working employees, closing plants, closing for good and going BK. We'll see how everything goes.

hehe, I've been getting pounded too today. My major holding, PNX, got killed today. I had sold some off at $4.4, but its dropped down to $3.6. Wish I sold more off, but eh. Holding some cash so I'll see where it levels out. Market has looked a bit ugly lately, but I hate moving too fast as its easy to sell yourself out on a little dip and miss the bounce back up. Hopefully the correction is short lived.

OMG..still dropping. Really wish I would have sold more off. My PNX is down to $3.0x from ~$4.5.
Bunch of things got nailed. Hopefully market reaches a bottom soon as things get way oversold. Damn, if I only went to more cash sooner.... buying power dies bc of the margins. Ack...

I'm going to keep all my positions and see where the bottom comes and see how far up my positions will go. Maybe 5-10yrs from now when another bubble burts, I'll probably play the market for real.

lol.. If you review some of the 10yr avg returns on a number of things (stocks, mut funds, etc.) this might not be a bad idea.
Its bad when many of the major 401k funds we're offered at work have a YTD return of 40%, but the 10yr is 3%.
For F's sake, might as well buy something safe, wait for a bubble to burst, put it in during the recovery, then get the F out again.
In the meantime, you're way way ahead, so I got to work a bit harder :)
I knew it was time to sell when you starting seeing a lot of blogs and message boards lighting up lately talking about how "we are taking this b!tch to $X.X." Doing the opposite of the herd turns out right more often than not it seems.

Good thing this is only a game lol. Just watch how low I'll be in the next couple or maybe few months. I hope investors have a new game plan for the new year.

I could say the same thing about myself. Nobody really knows what the market will do at the moment. Anything will drive it up or down. I have a higher risk of loosing everything then anybody in the game . Remember, I was in last place and I'm not making it up. I held my positions and when the market turned around I went to first place in a hurry.

Finnster,
Do you have any Pharmaceuticals in your portfolio (Not in the game)? If so, do they make the H1N1 vaccine?
OT: This will play a big part when I get the information from my uncles and a few other people.
