I like, I like alot

I need to make a new motor mouint though, the existing one is starting to bend slightly (one too many flips). Doesnt help that the metal I used was some nameless aluminum, rather than a specific grade like 6061 etc. I found the 6083 I used for the custom bottom plate to be brilliant- a fair bit stronger than 6061, but cheaper than 7075.

Custom battery plate is for sale if anyone wants it, just PM me an offer.

Thanks, I quite like it myself (coming to terms with the purple, lol).

Made another custom motor mount, this time it mounts the motor on the other side, and lowers it down to the 3 o'clock posistion almost:

I have to say though, this aluminum is crap- you can scratch it with your nail almost. I may well just buy a proper one in the future from Gorillamaxx, or use decent alloy that is hardend and a good grade.

No idea, I only finished it a couple hours ago, and the weather today was horrid again. Its ment to be drier though for the next few days up until monday, so hopefully we will be seeing it in action.

I only made this mount so that I had more gearing adjustment room, plus it lowers the motor below the line of the body posts abit more, so less likely to hit the motor and bend the mount if I get upside down.

I was thinking more like 'purple rain' by Prince, but Prince's lawyers remove all the tracks from youtube to protect the legal rights, bah.

Well, tested it- performs like a feigao pretty much, just cheaper and nicer looking :D

I managed to bend them back into shape almost, and the truck went back together minus a couple screws that wont line up anymore with their holes- will be getting new G3 braces soon to replace these though.
