Well I finaly got some wrench time. On go the UE Racerx arms.

Ran it to my first little problem a bent hinge pin and the upper arm will need spacers to fit my FLM hybrid bulks.

Dang I when I saw that the thread had been updated I got all excited. I love this build. Oh well so close... Can't wait! Can't you just use the little stock caster spacers? When I need spacers sometimes I cut screw holes out of my old plastic parts and cut them down to the desired size and bore the screw hole out some if needed. Just a suggestion.

I finaly got some wrench time for my upgrades. RacerX arms and knuckles, 6mm UE cvds and a 3mm HCR titanium skid plate.

I am amazed at how light the arms feel. They feel like plastic. The UE cvds and skid plate are beefy and should hold up well to my beating.

The right cvd is not on because the drive cup is catching on a little burr that I have to smooth off tommorow.

Waiting on output shafts. All of the output shaft grub screw holes had deformed. They were oblique instead of round and I could not fit my drive cups. waiting.....

Wow, yours has gotten alot nicer over the last year. Kind of funny when you look back at what you started the thread with. Seems like the motor is the one thing that has been in it from the get go.

My Neus also

Bad news for me I got some wrench time tonight and FLM hybrid bulks and UE RacerX arms don't fit. I am looking at shaving just a hair over 1/16 of an inch at each site where the arm attaches to the bulk for a total of 1/8 of an inch. Has anyone else tried this? What are my options?

Duh never mind. I can shift them back. I will just need to shave a little on the bottom arms.

I wouldnt be shy about a little shaving, though I would shave the bulks rather than the suspension, purely since the arms are more beautiful

I actually shaved the arms....

Structurally there is more material on the arms. The FLM hinge pins loops are small in comparison and I know it is not much, but with the way I beat my truck stonger is definately better.

I also have a second set if I want a shelf queen.

I shaved my arms too. The RacerX arms are about 7.80mm thick where it joins to the bulks. The FLM arms by comparison are only 7.45mm. I didn't have to shave .35mm off the arms though. If I remember correctly, the bulks have a 8.10mm opening at the rear and a 7.80mm at the front. The gap inbetween the arms and the bulks are different though, so, I had to take off about .10mm on the inner side of the front half of the arms.

Sorry bud. I got side track for a month with some other things. I need to find hinge pins that fit. The ones I have are all a little too long. All i have to do is measure and post or search to find them.

Does anyone know off the top of their head? I have FLM hybrid bulks on UE RacerX arms.

After over a year, I am back at it! Does anyone know where I can find a front Ti skid plate?
