It is in my new buggy . Neu 1512 2.5D/F, 4s Lipo, geared 44/18 with 38/11 diffs.

So does this mean it would be better to disconnect the fan from the esc fan and wire it to the battery leads? Would this void the warranty?

I'm pretty sure wiring direct to the battery leads would give the fan too much voltage. It's likely getting 5.5v from the ESC vs 14v+ direct.

I'm actually running a Novak fan directly from my Rx pack. It would be good to get a cheap 6V BEC and use that to power the fan. In my TC3T, I tried something that I thought I would never do. I actually hooked my fan to the AUX channel on my rx and it works fine and no interference at all.
