My Maxx was my first RC vehicle and this is my second. I never dreamed that it would have turned out like it did. I have a bunch friends with stock trucks that are thinking about doing some of the things that I have done. This whole forum and RC Monster in general is first class. Thanks again Mike.
CMAC, Here's a little extra inspiration for doing yours. This guy did a nice nice Baja 5B but he seems to have great video editing skills as well. I like the fire at the end but take note of the pictures and video changing to the beat. I think you and this Baja are the best 2 rc trucks I've ever seen in the 8 yrs I've been in the RC Hobby.

Here's a 2nd vid from this guy. Goes to show how much further you can go if you really want to.

He's got a awesome youtube channel as well, Very interesting to say the least,

and his own webpage as well

Not tryinh to get off topic. Just trying to show CMAC what I was referring to the other day. Enjoy !!

Well cmac I got the arms, motor mount, skid plate, hub adapters all ordered and they should ship today (Fri). They're also taking care of The bulkhead that I snapped a bolt of in. They normally don't do that they told me. This was before I dropped 200.00 in parts so I'm happy, they're happy and its all good. I've dealt with that lady there on a few different occasions and she always treats us rc guys good from what I've experienced and heard myself.

With your bada#* car you have you've went and set the bar so high I'm going to have To really do some thinking. Knowing me I'd make it a shelf queen cuz I have 2 more maxxes and probably another in parts here and that don't include the 3 old 3906 emaxx trucks. I have others as well that are feeling neglected also including a traxxas rad rc car.

Well I finally got some time to work on the truck again. I have mounted the servos ran all the wiring. I have also trimmed the body and reamed the mounting holes. All I have left is to paint the body and solder Traxxas ends onto the batteries. I will try to post pics soon.

Body done. All I have left to do is solder the Traxxas ends onto the Gens Ace batts and I'm done. I still need to get some time to take some pictures. I hope to a little later tonight.

That should look awesome. I really wanted some hardcore ti front and rear skid plates, I went with some ti plates that I found on Ebay and they seem to be good. The fit and finish works well with the overall look of the truck.

Ok guys,
here they are. The pictures that I promised. I still have not put a gear on the motor,( or rotated the motor per Neils advise)but the truck is more or less done. I still have to solder the Traxxas ends on my batt's and take it for a shake down run. I hope to do that this weekend. I have a lot of pics so here goes......
