Did A little revision on the mount- now it has a recessed area for the pinion to sit, and a slot for an allen wrench to fit. Now i need an M3 drill and tap set to go with my m4 so i can finish it after its machined.

Well it was a good day, Mike(eovnu87435ds) came over, Taped up the cars to run wet weather... was all well and good romping around in the mud and puddles(the cars), until Mike's transmistter decided not to cooperate. So after spending an hour diagnosing the Transmitter. we started work on the evader aka Supervader... Modded a savage 49t spur gear to fit it along with grinding the transcase, motor plate and fins on the motor to get the 8l(finned) to fit..

This was the matrix after 5 mins

good times..

If All goes well, in 2 days i will have a new set of lipos and a new servo.
Now that I'm running 4s it allows me to get rid of that rediculous spur gear.. I plan to step down to a 52t spur so i can flip the diff and run my motor up front, and saddle'd lipos in the rear.
I found these trays, but they would need battery straps etc.

I was also looking at cutting the trays out of an emaxx chassis to have the benifits of hold down bars...

So my after xmas shopping list is:
-Kyosho Lightweight 52t spur gear.$25
-Custom motor mount- $10
-Buggy chassis braces and belcrank support- $10
-Miscelaneous screws, bolts etc-TBD

Wow, great xmas...

this is what i got :

Old servo..

Ds 1015

Wiring Etc
Im swapping over to all Ec5 connectors- i love them, soo much easier to soder then deans-dont require heatshrink if done right and offer a bit more surface area to pull them apart... the only thing is that the connectors housings are easy to mix up.... My entire setup is flip-flopped...
Made a simple series harness out of excess wire from my MMM- i can easily swap it out for a deans pug or whatever I may need.

RCM-lipos
WOW! These packs have some balls! 145amps of continuous goodness... soo much power that my diff case seperated from wheelies.... after a cleanup and a rebuild i was at it again. These packs are night and day difference compared to my zippies- the only con is that they are heavier.
