Lol, not looking for backflips, I just don't like the front tires to unload and look like pizza cutters on hard acceleration. I might go down to 50k.
I just remeasured the tires and they are 4.25". Maybe the foam compressed a little?
Anyway, on 4s, that 2650 motor geared 52/16 will get you 41mph. On 3s, you'll need to adjust gearing to 52/21 to get the same speed. It's a bit steep on the rollout, but should still be ok.
Can't wait to give the other 10th scalers some brushless a$$ kicking!
found these 17mm adapters in my random parts box that fit the ten-t's axles perfectly....just needed some washers to keep the wheels from backing out.....and..these adapters should fit as well

So anyway back to buisness. What do ya think about castles neu line up for this dismantled incomplete rolling chassis."1512-1518" obviously 1800kv flavor.4s or 5s-ish?
If anyone from TEKNO is keeping an eye on this post please look at my request on the "tekno support area". I want a tekno SC chassis for the ten-t (use the slash 4x4 wheel base). This will be a HUGE seller as it will make the ultimate 4x4 SC truck and it would be perfectly LEGAL! Wont take much to add the bumpers and body mounts but if you included something in the kit or holes for the RPM SC10 bumpers or even the slash bumpers it would be a nice touch!
I don't think the 10T would be legal in the SC class, Stum - the track width is too wide. It also uses 6mm axles rather than 5mm, so the SC wheels/tires wouldn't be a direct fit, either.
Almost forgot... Thanks for pointing that out Mike. Our guy who did the SC conversion is basically banned from running it at our track. We voted on rules and they voted 24-23 to not allow home-brew projects (production ONLY). I think that's kind of lame for an 'UNLIMITED' class, but that's how it goes. I'm sure Losi has to be drooling over the potential of this platform.
Lame indeed, Dan - IMO home brew projects should be allowed as long as the creation fits the description of the vehicle class being raced - especially in an "unlimited" class. The 10t is too wide, so it doesn't fit the description really, but if it did it should be allowed in my eyes. :).

Last part to solve was the wheels. Normal SCT wheels have a terrible offset and this made the truck way too wide. I found out (thanks Matt) that the Proline Protrack Suspension kit had been developed with zero offset wheels. They make the truck exactly the same width as a normal Traxxas 4x4 SCT and also as an added benefit, they make it so the king pin is in proper alignment with the wheel for better suspension geometry/ improved handling. And nothing rubs.
The wheel hexes are wrong for these SC wheels, so I had to also make a set out of stock Traxxas plastic hexes. I just had to drill them out to 6mm from the 5mm they have stock.
Totally agree. We put ProLine ProTrac wheels on there. They have 0 offset and narrowed the truck to within specs, he was running 3s with a 2200kv Lektron 50 prototype. Normally he runs 4s to keep up, but everyone was complaining so he ran 3s and still whooped up :(

LOL, where would we be without home-brew?
They will sell.. make me one please :) I'm sure I could run it at my track in the SC 4x4 unlimited ;) Rules 2s lipo 10th scale esc (mmpro), motor "open" and must use SC tires and SC body.
I'd like spec length and to be able to mount w/ your standard motor mounts.. How far off from a 8ight-b chassis could it be?
IMO you'll are thinking about this all wrong. What needs to be done is all the Corr trucks need to be converted to truggy style, Then everyone can race and get along :D
Here' I'll start.
