I think that A123 is coming out with a pack that is the same size as a 6 cell NiMh. Look at page 92 of the January 2008 issue of RCCA and it shows a pack that looks flat and has 2200mAH.

We spoke about that and one member here tested with them, but no word yet on availability. I also saw them being used in a Tamiya, that's when I noticed the pack was different from the normal packs they sell now.

Lutach, do you know what member tested them? I'd consider getting these if the price is good and they have enough capacity.

I think that flat pack is just four of the 1100 a123, 2s2p.

1100mah a123? I want some to use as in 2s config for a nitro Rx pack. that sounds Ideal. I'd just use the 2300mah a123 in 2s but they just dont fit most places.

Id love to see them.

There is alot of info on the 1100 A123 on RCU. It charges at 5A max I believe.

Go to your local Home Depot and get one or 2 of those VPX Black & Decker packs and you will have it.
