if I remember, the master car SPORT was 12cells w/ bec, and 16cells (or 18, don't remember) opto. I ran 16 cells in my rustler and tc3 w/ the master car sport. so far, the master car sport, and bk warrior 9018's (before they had the 9918's)(i had two), are the only controllers i've used w/ out a single problem..
the master car COMP, was 12cells max.

Well change of plans. I picked up the Hacker today for a good price. $85 and it was mine. I didnt trade it for the VXL which is nice because that would of really bothered me that I would've had to get rid of one of my favorite ESC's for another ESC just so I could run higher voltage. Anyways here are a few pics...

wow, 85 bucks for a jeti controller with heatsink attached?

Tower has the jeti sport for 78 bucks. Throw in the 20 bucks coupon code and you get a nice deal.

The Jeti Car Sport is $145 and the Race is $160. The Hacker Master is completely different. I have the Jeti Sport and its alot smaller and doesnt have the amp output that the Master does. I think I got a pretty good deal.

The sport is 78.08 right now.

You have a pic of both the hacker and Jeti?

The Jeti and hacker have the same specs. Download the PDF yourself and see.

Their both quite a bit different... The Jeti Sport is only capable of handling 8cells and the Hacker Master is up to 12cells. The Master is able to handle up to 16cells with a the bec disabled... Their both very different in sizes. The master is about twice as big as the jeti sport. I am pretty sure that the master is more powerful. Its to old to tell though. lol

Plus the master has higher voltage/UF capacitors. The master has 330uf 50v caps and the advance sport has 220uf 25v capacitors. They are going to preform quite a bit different.
