Your crystal ball had better be way off. Have you checked that the date is set correctly on it. It can be quite difficult to set on those things as they don't use normal time like on a clock, it's something to do with the phases of the moon.

He should have known better than to medal with women's toys......

They have powers we can't possibly understand, how else can they fit all that crap inside their purse's. The fact it was next to the broom should have tipped him off anyone, the evil objects were already conspiring against him.......

Well, I know the MGMs are pricey but there is good news on that front. I wouldn't waste your time wishing for MMM. MGM has the new 3.2 version of their firmware and it will allow users to download future firmware updates via the Internet (just like Castle)...and it also addresses the braking issues that SOME users seem to have been experiencing (I never had problems...and actually the issues were really associated with different motor types according to MGM). BTW, Mike sent all of his MGMs in for the 3.2 update and all of his future stock will have 3.2!!! Here is some email traffic that I had with MGM:

Dear Kevin,

current Car/Boat controllers (version 3.20 and higher) is possible update yourself via www, PC, USBCOM+ module (ver. 3.00 or higher) and CC_03 cable. This version working with RC equipments with HRS modulation also and some other features was added, by user requirements (for example "no braking" possibility, when you want use mechanical brakes). Also behaviours with some motors was improve on (combination of same motors and battery can cause problems in older version).
If you have older version, necessary is update to 3.20 version in factory (the same about USBCOM+). Next updating you can make yourself. (Actual version on the web is 3.21 for controller and 3.10 for USBCOM+).

When you will send your controller (USBCOM) to update to us, write small price on the package (up to 15 USD), this is necessary for our customs and quick solution.

Best regards,
Grisa

Subject: MGM22418

Hi,

I recently purchased two MGM22418 controllers from Mike Cronin at RC-Monster. It has been brought to my attention that these controllers now have a new firmware update that is available. Could you please provide me some information about the benefits of getting the firmware update and how to go about getting it?

Thanks
Kevin
