Don't have any lipos yet there mike. I don't like the sound of them wanting to catch fire. I may wait until they get better advanced on them. I have a pile of cells them nimhs. Have 48 3000s. Have 36 gp3300 and have 36 gp3700. I should have enough to power it. LOL. JMO
Peace!

I have question. How does the 36120 be smaller and lighter than the 3695? Is that a miss print mike. 20 grams and 6 mm is a difference.

Misprint indeed. The 3695 is the same size as a warrior. I fixed this misprint!

Your planning on using a 2280? i was thinking about getting a 2250, the 2280 sounds tempting though.. They reached 101 km/h (63mph) on 20 cells with that motor and a big ass CEN.46

That does sound tempting. Go up a few more cells. Shot for 70. I don't know if the drive train would take but so much. I upgraded alot. Time would tell.

That 2280 weights a ton though.. That's what's keeping me.. The 2250 seems more interesting It isn't the size of Russia, nor it's weight..

I going to try the 9xl on more cells first. How many is to many? That is the question. I have a 14 L here to. I would like to see what 30 cells on that would do.

I would not push a 9XL with 30 cells. It will peak out to 60000 rpms. (loaded that is) the 14L will reach the 55000 rpms with ease as well.. I recommend getting a higher wind motor if you wish to do so..
You don't know what to expect, my guess is that 24 cells will be a blast allready.. Don't you remember what it was like when you upgraded from 16-18-20 cells?
30 cells is nice to make a flyby with, but to bash, it simple is too much..

I have not tried 20 cells. I don't have the esc for it. It is holding me back some. I am willing to scrafice the 14l in the name of science. I think it will hold. Me and my brother put 18 cells on a 8l. It was nasty little motor. :lol Still running it. Supposed to bash a little today. Have see How it goes.

Yeah, with a low kv rated one, and a high voltage setup the 3695 should be good too
