As posted on the Traxxas forum by a Traxxas employee:

"May 22 availability

Price has not been officially announced yet. Expect it to be close in price to an Electric Stampede model 3605.

Comes with an XL-5 brushed system (w/ 12-turn motor).

It's pretty wicked with a VXL system and a 7-cell."

at first glance I was pretty sure the rusty was going bye bye. once I saw the size of it next to the rustler I knew the rustler was getting replaced. I'm going to try to be the first to make it 4wd!

I want one for fun. being based on a pede you know it'll be tough. Losi has one like this out too now, but I am not a losi fan (seen the new brushless rtr trucks losi are selling coming back to the lhs for repairs 20 mins after leaving)

I was thinking of just using Mike's ext. chassis on the CRT.5 and adding this body and wheels. Shouldn't be to hard to make a bumper extension either.

@supralover72
What is the wheelbase of mike's CRT.5 chassis?

When looking at the dimensions of this truck i think a regular 1:8 buggy chassis would fit well under this body.

I like, throw my extra VXL in there and it would be great! Even if they had a 4-wheel drive one, i wouldn't buy it, i mean the real thing is 2x4.
