They make a crawler inrunner that is sensored, then they make it 1000kv. The only reason that 1000kv stuck was because it was what the 55t lathe motor is, and that most of the dLRK 300 and 400 class outrunners hover from 850-1200KV. 1500 to 3000kv is more useful for crawlers IMO, they have a sensor and it is a waste of motor to have it so slow (weak @ 7.2v). That motor could be ran on 35v I bet.

I asked Feigao for a sample of the 1100Kv motor and I was actually planning on running it with 36-44.4 volts. Should be an extremely efficient set up. BTW John, do you have the low Kv Feigao?

I don't have the low KV version feigao. The only ESC I have with a sensor port is the novak crawler, and I don't like the 100% brake at neutral/ no drag brake element. Sensored systems would be awesome for crawling with a bit more motor brake. A Sensored outrunner would really be best for crawling IMO, keep the KV around 2000 but the motor could ask for a lot more amperage as compared to an inrunner.

Ok. I'm going to try and ask Alex again for the low Kv motor.
