Thank you!!

I'm hoping to receive my motor today or tomorrow so I can run it this weekend.

Anyway, question for everyone, if you have a choice between the Tekno RC Neu 1515 1Y and the original smotth 1515 1Y, which one would you buy?

Edit - I had been getting pm's about the monoblock. It's been sold.

Update receive more goodies today.

UE 8 spyder gears:

Tekno RC Neu 1515 1Y/F:

Neuenergy 2x 25C 3S 5000mah batteries:

I test-fitted the motor with an assortment of pinions ranging from 18-21T and I didn't see any fitment issues. The motor was not even touching the tranny case with the 18T pinion.

More pics:

I dremeled the stock motor holder for fit the 21T pinion:

Looking good, must be over the moon about being able to run it soon. Whereabouts do you store your trucks? In the dinning room?

Yup, right next to the dining table. That's my corner since I don't have a garage. There is not much space in a military family housing compared to a real house . And Japanese houses are even smaller in area.

Well, I was able to do one pack this afternoon and wow is an understatement. It's very powerful and I flip twice while doing high speed runs (sorry no gps). My settings are the following:
Settings for initial run ---- Changed settings to
Brake/Reverse Type ----- Rev Lockout (D)---- same
Brake amount ----- 30% ---- same
Reverse Throttle ----- 50% (D)---- same
Punch control ---- 50%----- 30%
Drag Brake ---- Disabled (D) ----- same
Start power ---- Low ---- same
Motor type ---- brushless---- same
Arming time ---- 1.5 secs ---- same
Motor timing ---- 10% ----- same
Cutoff voltage --- Auto ---- 19.2
Throttle dead band ---- - .1000ms ----- same

Looking good. Don't know what tires you're running but phaltlines are great for speed runs. Very stable in comparison to standard MT tires. Looks like you've been at yokosuka a while huh?

Thanks. I'm currently using bowties. I had been in Yokosuka for about 2 1/2 years now. I'm going back to a ship in Nov/Dec hence the brushless build so I can play it onboard .

Thanks. It's geared 51/20. No gps yet. But Brian's calculator say 57 mph. We'll see.

Hope it's a big ship so you can really open up that g-maxx. Only problem is all that metal around. Not good for crashes.

Onboard an aircraft carrier if my request gets approved.
