Everybody wants everything to be perfect all the time, and life just isn't like that. I just read a couple digs on other companies. How's this one. Traxxas...the king of customer support? When I called about 2 dead EVX2 ESCs, one killing a nimh and Spektrum Rx, the other taking a 2s8k lipo with it, their rep said they don't have any problems with the EVX2. Yeah, that's why it's all over the TRX and other forums too. Castle isn't in denial, they are in fix it mode. I can't imagine any testing that would put an RC ESC through everything we are going to do to them once they hit the shelves, so I can understand problems showing up in the first batch. I've got an 08 Caravan that has had a couple trips to the dealer for things like brake shields haning up on lower A arms and power sliding doors not closing in cold weather. It's a new modle with a few bugs that need to be fixed, but it's not the end of the world. Give them a chance and they will fix the Monsters

I love emo and goth, the kids that want to be so different and not conform by being just like and conforming to all the other emo and goth people. One of life's fun little ironies that puts an amused smile on my face whenever I think about it.
I had not even factored the ISO part of the deal into the mix and that was a good point 123revo. That brings a whole other level of headache into the mix. I cannot go on enough about how much I loathe ISO or maybe just DNV auditors but oh well.
In the end guys, the world is not over, we can still play with our rc's and go on to fight another tyrannical day.

Emo and goth are funny, they dress up like f$%*tards, and try to rebel against their parents. And we all know the only reason they can do it is because the parents are paying for everything. Put the little bastards out to work, in a coal mine, or make them pay for everything. I bet the crappy makeup would come off real fast once they saw what the real world was all about. The sheep people really get me going, what a waste of space.

They probably wouldn't mind working in a coal mine, makeup would be cheaper as they could just use the coal

True, and if they would breathe deeply we would be rid of them much quicker...

Second batch is delayed and a new board design may even be in the works!
Quote Lee Estingoy, Castle Engineer
"It's going to be a few weeks down the road. One of the components is not living up to the manufacturer's specs, and it is letting all of us down. We have a replacement configuration and we are tooling up for that. This involved getting the new part in qty, and possibly new control board design -- I'm not the engineer on this part, so don't hold me to any of this.
We feel the pain of this delay, perhaps even as much as the consumers. , so flogging us online will not be needed, nor will it speed this process.
Thanks,
Lee"
