Awh, weekends aren't so bad. I used to be a super busy weekend guy as well, between soccer and other stuff. But I've been working 8+ hours every Saturday for the past 2 years now, and I don't mind so much.

Looks like you were a soccer player too... that is what takes up every weekend for me too. From refereeing soccer games (which actually pays amazing, but is the most boring job ever) to actually playing every weekend in tournaments around the state and sometimes around the country.

I actually went to a different hobby shop today (Hobby People) and asked if they are hiring and they said they will in fall. So hopefully I'll be able to get a job at the store then.

Yep, but I only played recreational (AYSO), but we were good. And I played from age 6 to age 17 (senior year was the last year). I took up tennis in high school, so that was much more important to me than soccer. My senior year I was the team captain.

Which Hobby People store did you go to? Escondido?

Yah, I am playing competitive, so it is much more time consuming. I went to the one is San Diego.

I got my license this morning by the way!

Congrats! How many points did you miss?

4 points (15 is the max you can miss without failing)... but they were all because when going through a green light across an intersection, you have to look left-right-left-right. And I only did the first left-right... and I got another point(s) off because I didn't look back enough when backing up, when in reality, i was looking back almost the whole time... whatever. I'm just happy I passed.
