Thanks for the info guys.... anyone have experience with the Kontronik Power Jazz 63V ESC - seems like a good option since it's '100% waterproof'...pricey but I think it's one of the few esc's that are waterproof, especially for the bashers that are going through snow...sure, your lipos & servos may fry but at least the ESC will be ok.

If you have mechanical brakes, it should be good.
