Damn! Now I don't even want to put my new replacement V2s in my Savages!!! V1s dying is one thing, but smoke and flames is unacceptable! I think most of us have been extremely patient and understanding with Castle, but I'm really starting to lose faith. Most of these are not extreme setups. In fact, the MM/CCBEC combo is proving more reliable on 4s setups.

Patrick....HELP!

Try using a UBEC. I am on my 3rd MMM and the third I installed with a UBEC and it's running like a champ.

The whole purpose of the MMM for myself was no need for an external bec and having the possibilty to run 6s . Most set ups so far that have failed have been quite mild just like v1 .I myself will run an external bec when i receive v2 just to play it safe but i think i have finally lost faith in CC , this is unacceptable

Now please guys don't want to hear the crap about there will always be failures with new products , this is v2 should of all been sorted by now .

Maybe v3 will be sorted but i don't think as many people will be hanging around for it this time .

Recieved two controllers last Week and one died after 10min (BEC). The other one runs good so far. Thats 50% failure here !! Know about 4 other Guys who orderd the monster an they last max 10 to 20 minutes (not in this Forum).

How bad was the MM when it came out.... 70% failure?

I am using a Novak BEC, but that is on a new MMM, not one that the BEC circuit failed on already.

I've just got a new V2 MMM and Im running mine with ubec and my own fan right out of the box, it seems to hold up fine so far. I have ran thru 1 pack of 4s and 1 pack of 6s with Neu 1515 1Y, total about 40min. I did a little mod on the fan grill as well just to make sure fan blades dont get caught on it or anything getting in it, check it out here http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=435810
