It is coming together very nicely. I am interested in hearing how your 4 link setup works to compare it to mine, since my links will be about 2in. longer than yours.

Will do man, I am hoping this Frankenstein will be able to be raced LOL. I need to make some limiting straps, trim the chassis and figure out the lay out of everything. I also raised the front end assembly so I can get more down travel to compensate for the 4 links suspension travel.

Some parts came in and got more done today..

redid this..

Motor is only for mock up.

What do you guys think? should I run twin lipo's and get creative with the mounting of electronics? Or should I just run one lipo?

The RCM CRT.5 motor mount threw me off for a minute, it just looks so good in there! Not to mention the carbon fiber really gives the truck its own personality.

If I may ask, what did you use to shape the carbon fiber?

Sure man, I cut a piece of 3003 aluminum into a the shape I needed and drilled it for everything. Then all I did was cut the carbon out and sanded it to shape using the template of aluminum.

That motor and center diff setup is quite creative. Nice work. Just shows you how easily things can be done when you put your mind to work. I would surely setup for two Lipos just for the sake of veritility. That way you can run either way. Keep up the good work itsme. I hope to start doing stuff like that once I get all of my Maxx rigs up and runing. That should keep the boys busy while I do other things.
