What Im saying is if you ordered 14 cells and wired 8 of them in parallel that would give you 10,000mah and the other 6 would be wired in series to give you the 6s voltage. Im am missing something?
yes...you would need 8 cells for each 3.7 volt increase....

You wouldn't be able to hook those together..
you can't hook an 1s8p pack up to a 6s1p pack. That makes no sense..
Anything you hook up in parallel needs to be equal in voltage otherwise the lower voltage cells will likely explode.. and anything in series needs to be of similar MAH or you will drain the one faster than the other. So if you can't hook up yout 18 1s8p and 6s1p in series or parallel... how would you do it?.. you can't :(. You'd need 48 of those cells to make a 6s 10,000mah pack.
