how to not kill an 18t servo???

hey guys got the parts in and i installed everything.

servo worked fine for about 5 minutes and then it died again... this time it was not the gears but the motor? or something else.

the servo will shut off and on randomly. i dont think the connections are bad because i checked all of them... it seems that when there is too much stress the servo shuts off. could the actual motor be bad?

check the voltage coming out of the receiver to the servo maybe something is wrong there.
