Now to get you running with a brushless and LiPo! Even adding a LiPo and a lvc would make a difference!
RC-Monster RC8T 1515 2.5D/MMM/5s RC-M 4500mah
SC10 MMPro 13.5T 2s NeuEnery 5000mah
RC18T Mamba 25/5400kv 2s lipo + 6s NiMh

yeah, I just wanted to get it running that night, but now I have a battery harness made out of some wire mesh that I cut out of an old ironing board and hard mounted the servo batt, and its working pretty well for me.

to brushlessboy16, no, its not a tray, its like a metal sombrero that goes over the batteries and is clamped around the sides, with only 1 strip of ducttape this time...
and to BL_RV0, its ok, i got a spare! ive' run the one in there half a dozen times or so, no problem... and when the time comes that i do manage to destroy 2 motors, ill go brushless!

I think that is the way most of us upgrade.. Burn up the Stock stuff.. and go to the Significant Other(CFO) and say.. Honey, It was cheap.. it died.. if i buy THIS stuff. I won't have to again and it'll be better."
Works nearly every time.
