I know, thats the first thing I told them, but that unit will be going to the iHobby and Hobbywing said the production unit will have thicker wires.

I'm not sure what those 2 extra set of wires are for. They might be for an external cap bank or like you said if you want to use 2 packs. I'll ask them tonight. The on/off switch will be right by where those pins are.

When I asked about the motor, they told me 3000Kv and I told them that if the ESC is rated for 6S lipos and people went with it it would be too much. They told me the 3000Kv is for 3S lipos, 2300-2500Kv for 4S lipos and 1500-1800Kv for 6S lipos. I then told them that 4 pole is what most people are asking for and I even mentioned they should do a sensored 4 pole and 6 pole. That's when they told me they were looking at doing a 8 pole. I even showed them ictures of my 6 pole with the shattered magnet and I told them they better wrap them with Kevlar. They asked me to give them info on motor manufacturers, but this time I think I'm going to keep the help to the minimum just because of what happened with their past products. I'm going to give the Schumacher and Speed Passion guys a chance to prove they really work close with R & D . I don't think they could've came up with the new program box idea that I told them .

I think you should get 10% of every sale.

Looks abit like a generic no-name esc rather than something identifiable (MMM, Hvmaxx, Tekin etc), but if it works, who cares what it looks like.

BL sector is really exploding right now isnt it...

Would weigh the same as a similar sized 2, 4 or 6 pole.

Speed Passion only has the right for the Xerun ESCs, but that doesn't make sense because Venom and Orion also has the Xerun ESC. I asked Hobbywing to make mine different, but for some reason they don't want to do it. They said the eZRun line has nothing to do with Speed Passion and gave me prices for the current 18, 25, 35 and 60A units, but they are too high. I'm going to wait and see how the 1/8 unit does as I have no clue if it'll work with 4 pole motors as they'll be offering 2 pole motors.

i know what you mean and why youll wait see how it pans out i fellow i know and buys alot of there gear off them wanted the 120 ampers 1/10 scales esc and they were hesitant as in no and he buys a fair bit of there gear too
and when he did get pricing for it .
it was over priced

sorry on a final edit have you spoke/emailed to fsd motors at all as there motors are rated to 50k rpm which i though was not bad
they have a 100amp esc similar too others currently sold

I have spoken to FSD and Keda, but the motors I want have to be 4 or 6 poles. I'm trying to stay away from Hacker clones as much as possible. I've just had enough with them failing.

frankly speaking germans run 2 poles and it is quite ok, why do you keep pushing towards 4 and more poles?

The 4 and 6 poles motors have better torque and electric motors also makes power from torque. I know the Germans still use 2 pole and that's why I have them. Have you see the new E50 from Hacker? Guess how many poles they have?
