thanks..... well i know that RPM has a lifetime warranty on it.. not sure of this stuff has any warranty but it looks to beefy to break.. the main stuff i will do is bash and i am thinking i want the ULTIMATE basher now if that is all RPM then so be it but i think getting a BRUSHLESS set up and Gorilla maxx parts will make it the ultimate basher.. also like i said i don't want something that weighs a lot... i am not to sure what a stock emaxx weighs but i think that if i even get a truck that weighs the more or the same as stock it will be okay with a Brusless.. also i was wodering a good BL system that will make me go fast but also is very STRONG and RELIABLEand that does NOT heat up to easy.. i was also wondering on the ESC and good bashing tires.. this is all your opinions that i would be expecting to get from everyone..... also do oyu need steel gears or aluminum tranni case? if so who makes them? this is not the biggest rush ion the world but pictures of people trucks and what they have would be much appreciated.... Well, Toby, why don't we start with a budget for the start of your project. This way, we can suggest things you will need in the order of importance and you can build as your wallet allows. The G-maxx stuff is a lot stronger than the stock stuff, and weighs the same or less in most cases. The 9918 controller and 9L motor suggested already will satisfy your appetite for power reliably and their are a bunch of other things to consider once the power is upgraded (diffs, tranny, driveshafts, servos, radio etc.). First, though, lets determine what your priorities are. The first upgrade most will recommend will be batteries. A good set or so of batteries will change the performance of your truck now, and ensure the best performance later (when upgrading to brushless power). Next, wheels and tires should be considered. the stock wheel/tire setup is heavy and gets poor traction. This is an area that can potentially save a pound or so of weight and increase runtime and traction at the same time. Then, we can worry about the chassis, suspension, servos, motor/controller. Diffs are up high on the list as soon as you get brushless power, as well as cvds.

okay thnk you.... well including the EMAXX i will have about 700 dollars (canadian) to spend.. so i will be able to get batteries a good charger and get new tires and wheels i guess.... also when you suggest parts please provide me with a link as i will not be able to find them...

If 700 cdn is your budget then you are on the limited side. I suggest getting the gmaxx chassis with RPM or Proline suspension. This should leave you enough to buy parts to handle the BL power.

I am not familiar with the exchange rate, but you may get batteries, charger, wheels and tires and the chassis for that (US $ would cover these items), depending on the exchange rate and which battery/charger you end up with.

A few selections here. The expensive ones are obviously the best and must be built into packs. The stick packs have good cells and would only need Dean's connectors.

There are other wheel/tire options, but these are a great value, come preglued and are one of the lightest combos available.

If you want real light tires go with the Komodo dragon LP. I have them and they hook up awesome. However, if you dont want that buggy look you can go with the bow tie tires by proline. I bash with the proline and they are awesome.

As for the charger you good try the integy 16x4 pro. I am getting these soon with GP3300 packs.

thanks.. those wheels though wont they wear out quick if i am driving on the road or gravel? and which chassis would you recommend if i am going to beat my truck and put oin a beushless eventually?

also does that battery charger hook me up with double charge (two batteries at once) i do not really like the komodo's they are to small and i want something that will balloon a little to help me pull backflips

The proline tires that I am running show little to no wear and are the lightest as far as I now other than the komodos. For pulling flips (i take it while jumping) I recommend some similar to the stock tires like the proline mashers. They would give more leverage in "grabbing" air than the bow ties. Also inertia has a play in flipping also.

The 16x4 if I remember correctly can charge up to 15 cells at a time so yes you can technically charge 2 packs at a time.

it can handle up to 15 cells which is good for using 7 cell packs but i have sen 8 cell packs... also i was wondering if it had the double hook up... yes it can handle it but does it come ready to charge 2 at a time? i will go with bow ties but the link that mike sent me becuase it is a good deal and i dig the black rims and he said they are the lightest... OKAY so i got my wheels and tires.. now i need to find which charger and batteries and chasis

The 16x4 can charge up to 15 cells, but only has one battery outlet. It is pretty easy to make a connector (series connector) that will allow you to hook multiple packs and charge them together.
