Nice report and good to hear the MMM v3 is worth the wait.
It sounds like your set-up is exactly the same as the new brushless e-revo (MMM v3 Neu 2200).
Was your MMM programmed differently than stock?
A parking lot is great for some high speed runs, but hate to see the rollover damage.

yea.. the roof of the original body is now a moonroof. Also wore the front body mounts down to nothing. Had to replace those as well.

That is controlled by the firmware, not the fan itself. So, yes.

You know what, I may have misunderstood what I read a while back. Looking through CC's release notes on the different software revisions they make no mention of the fan control through ESC temperature. Ah well, maybe somebody else can recall what I cannot seem to...

They mentioned it in the box of the last ESC they sent me.

I used a "bottom" line.

Still wood of perfered it to kick in a little earlier than 150F, maybe 140F. Must be something in the board that makes it start at that temp and not the software

It sounds to me like the fan control must've partly been a hardware addition, otherwise V1s would have had it when running the same firmware. IMO, it's no big deal; I guess there's a *slightly* higher chance of a fan faliure with a V1, but at the same time, it should keep things a tad cooler too. Doesn't bother me.

Doesn't really bother me neither. Didn't update to 1.19 as i thought that feature would be included. Would rather fan run all the time but either ither, as long as I have a running esc
