The TLT axles should work well, and luckily the seem to be readily available and not too expensive.
Yeah, I plan to make at least 2 different chassis soon, one with an 11" wheelbase for the stretched blackfoot body and another for the Navigator body. Need to finish up the waterproof high lift first, just finish making a UBEC and LED controller box. Used a hitec servo box, sectioned about 1 inch out of the middle and plastic welded it back together. I have it taped around the lid in the sink right now. It has a brick on top of it to keep it underwater. Hope it does not leak!!!

Hope I can score the axles tonight!!!

So did you score the TLT axles? I assume they were on the same truck I saw going rather cheaply on the evilbay!?

I got the arrival notice for my unimog and will pick it up today. I hope to have some more pics of it later.

Nope, the guy with the axles did not PM me back, it was on RCCrawler. I did how ever find a k2-5 chassis with a pair of over the top built tlt axles. Basically the only thing stock on them are the cases, and even those have been cut to fit the stainless "c" hubs and axle lockouts. Plus I got 2 pede trannys (now I have an even dozen) and links and axle mounts... Paid 175, but the axles have more than that in just aftermarket parts. He must have bought everything rcp sells for tlt axles, his loss, my gain!!! The axles are a bit extreme for a 1.9, but I was not having much luck finding what I wanted.

Make sure you get pics of the unimog, and I will snap some pics of the 1.9 stuff and make a build thread.

Nice find. I think I saw that ad you got those from too.

I pciked up the MRC and really dig the layout and axles. With the trail chassis and shock setup, I am not sure how to mount the servo plate and servo without interfering with the shocks. The chassis being delrin has some flex but I will work that out. The body with it is rough on the left side and I am thinking of buying an extra body anyway. It came off a bruder toy unimog with a dump bed and winch.

This will be my first really complicated build and I will take my time. I guess in reality I should move this to the crawler forum.
