And 3,553 watts = 4.8 horsepower. Holy schmoley!

With these kinds of power availible, I'm wondering how long it is until we start seeing steel-belted tires! :D

Nice present!

I was thinking that they would keep 4.2 volts while discharging for some reason. :C: Silly me.
When you say because they get "hot", does that mean that I'll need to cool the cells, or does it just mean that they supply better power at higher temps?
A lot of times Lipos will get hot when run at their max continuous discharge rate. TPs, for example, can top out at 170 deg. at their max continuous discharge rate. That temp. is way too high! But, as a cell heats up, it will be able to deliver more current. Any temp. over about 140 deg. will cause the battery's life to drop off.

"We have partnered with leading Korean scientists that were involved in developing the Polyquest XP cells, however our batteries are produced in our own quality controlled manufacturing facility in the in the Far East. Each Evolution 20 pack benefits from the work of leading cell technologists as well as our unique world-class cell matching and pack build techniques to produce a finished product unlike any other."
Funny thing! I just read that same statement from a link on this thread:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451960
Flightpower never responded to the question asking whether they actually manufacture the cells, or if they only assemble the packs (or at least not in the next page or two).

I hope they got you a program cable to. I found that my 36120 didn't work well with my 2250 10t. I am not sure why. The schulze did great. I am waiting to change some parameters and hopefully fix the problem. You may want to try a lower voltage at first to get used to the power. That is one nice christmas gift. I think you will like it. On your motor at 27 volts and 52 amps of draw. It puts out 46 ncm of torque. If it starts drawing a 100 amps it is going to break something. :D

Peace!
