Just what you need. -

That is just what you needed linc, another battery charger??? Do you have room on your charing station, or are you selling one of the older ones off?? Anyway it is good to see that someone out there is starting the push to lower the Lipo prices, as this will really force the rest to come on down or loose money due to losses in sales. Finally what we have all been waiting for. I believe that these prices are much more understandable and reasonable and fair to the consumer. Life is good. This will let us put more people in the position of being able to afford running BL. The BL hobby will grow and thrive. Yeeeeaaaaa.

HAHA, 20 chargers... I only have 4 hyperion 5i, 2 Ice, 1 hyperion 610i, 1 feild lipo charger, 2 prophet plus, and a cheapo duratrax lcd charger. So that is 11 chargers... I did just sell 2 mrc 989s and a hyperion 5i ac/dc though...
It is good to see lipo prices come down. I hope these zippy packs do well. I will give them a try after I hear what the "unwashed masses" have to think about them!

I use the 5i chargers to charge individual cells when I am building or fixing packs. Nice to be able to charge em all at once and see the readings at the same time. The 2 ice chargers are for my trakpower, pq and fp packs that I run pair of in the monster trucks. I used to use the 989 chargers to charge anything 5s and up but i had to have a 610i... I did not really need 2 989 chargers, only have 1 5s and 1 6s pack over 3000mah right now.

Lucky you....
I'm already turning my brothers room into an RC shop, but every time he comes home, I clean out, polish his desks, move my junk out, into my other brothers room, clean up again, then help set up his room for living again, but shh, don't tell him!
Now, when both of my brothers are home... Well, we'll just say I'll need a bigger room ;)
But I have the essentials, bed, computer, bathroom. :]

Tell us what motor & esc you intend to run, and what you are hoping to achieve in terms of power and speed, and recommendations will flood in.
Cheap charger? Probably a hyperion 606i, for the price they are excellent. Plenty of similar items on hobbycity though for less, but many of them require a seperate powersupply.

I'm pretty sure the guy that edited the first post in this thread would rather that if we are going to buy batteries elsewhere not to post links on his forum. Just a heads up.

Probably a mmm 2200kv combo on a gmaxx build with 1/8 diffs. I was thinking 2 3s 5000 mah 30c or can I get away with lower 20c or 25c rating? I want it fast what else lol.

Mistakes. -
01.26.2009, 10:36 PM
Yea it is easy to make a mistake once in a while, and I am sure that Mike understands that, but we should be careful not post up links that driectly compete with RCM products. We all learn from our mistakes hopefully. If these batts turn out to be a good product he might want to consider selling them on here, because they will definitely turn up the volume on sales. I think we should still share results on how well these batteris do after testing. The masses will want to know how they fair for the price.

Sorry if I came off like a jerk, I guess thats just how I am sometimes. Don't get me wrong though I've got 10 zippy packs and I'll probably try some more. I think they are a great bang for the buck as long as your willing to work with shotty craftsmanship once in a while.
