Seems you have the same issues. I used a m3 washer on the bottom aarms to pull the bottom out 1mm, then the 5mm (ish) spacers on top so now the shocks are straight and dont rub on the sliders. The AE bolts seem really strong, havent bent one yet in 3 good runs with some jumps off a toys r us skate ramp.
