The 3001 is the pro version (not DSM2), I do not have one so I don't know the stock wire length on it. I have a couple of the small 3500's and the wire length on those is pretty short, but more than 2", more like 3" or 3.5" (might be 3.6" from the circuit board).

i am just got to leave it. i am not the guy who sees how far i can go. when i did, i was on FM and it was so far away i didnt know where it was anymore. yeah, i can go 100 yards. ok so thanks. i will worry about the wire length when i realize my signal is low or something. i still need to figure out how to mount the wire and tube neatly.
