I've also been pondering the RC lawnmower idea Dafni.

In the form of a mower deck that sticks out in front. Built out of 1/8" aluminum plate, powered by twin AXI 4130/20 outrunner motors, it will use 4S lipo along with a pair of airplane ESC's.

The batteries that power the mower deck will hang over the rear to act as a counterbalance.

I was first thinking about using a pair of carbon tipped 7 1/4" circular saw blades, but then began to imagine bad things happening. LOL

Instead of saw blades, how about we use a pair of these?

That idea sounds good, I thought about something like that as well.

I ended up with the towing of this old mower thing because of the simplicity and all... I just un-hook the thing and the truck is back to "stock". Change the gearing and it's a pretty decent basher.

Only thing I see with a mower tool up front would be hitting objects. Towing behind is easy, just hard to get the corners.

Hitting objects? I've thought about that too. So, on each side of the mower deck, a guide wheel shall be mounted in such a way, it will hold the rotating blades at, oh let's say, 1/2" distance on the sides.

Built like this, the only way you're going to hit something is head on. You could actually oversteer a little, and still do a beautiful job trimming along edges.

Ran without a body on the truck, this can be built to pin in place on the body posts. Easily removeable.
