If you can't find a spur/pinion ratio that you can use, and don't want to change motor& batts, you can always swap in truggy diffs and lower the FDR that way. that savage diffs are crap anyway.

IDK how you put the CD in, but a huge spur may stick way out the bottom or hit the sides or such.

This is a good point!

Joey, I was referring to actual pics of the CD mounts in your truck...

I know what 8ight mounts look like! I just (5mins ago) bought a center diff from an 8ight to put in my next project - stretched chassis Tower Terror = turd!

Project: Mighty Long Turd Tower of Terror? Sounds like a bad day after a good night at a Mexican restuarant.

Yes, I plan to stretch a turd... Better wash my hands after this project...

It is actually a decent truck. But the short wheelbase makes it a bit squirrely with BL... It has solid diff, arms and bulks. The center spur is like a knife, and it lacks enough room to get the lipos mounted well. I will try to get the lipos inside the tvps, but may end up with saddle trays, ala flux... Nice to have a center diff though...

Savage X diffs are crap? That sucks, I thought they were decent... what truggy diffs will fit the X bulkheads??

Heres my mounts. Only good pics I have of it... what do you want to see it for if you already know what they look like? Just curious how I did it? My build page is in the savage section under ep savage x build.
