hi guys i ran a dewalt 14.4 motor racing for 18 months or so. on the standard evx on 14 cells mind you,. no worries what soever. ideal for bashing. the tracks here in australia are i think a little sma;ller than the us in length, but i went pretty well with the dewalt here.more torque than standard , i ran 25/ 66 or 70 gearing. it went great. on most of the tracks here i could beat the brushless except for down the straights where they would fly past but i would take them in the windy parts of the tracks. they are very durable and cheap..... by the way i now run brushless..

Hey JThiessen. If you are interested in the Kershaw 820 setup I have one I will sell if you are interested. Only used it one time, basically brand new. It is a good motor. Noticable improvement over stock. I decided to switch to brushless after I found this site cause I wanted sick power. It would come with a 26t, 20t and 18t 32p 5mm pinions too. It has the dual motor plate so you could always add a second one down the road. Speaking of second one.... The EVX will not handle 2 of the motors But I have a brand new Novak XR that will do 2. If you or anyone else is interested my Email is sluggie24@aol.com. I'm willing to sell both for less than new even though they are new.
