Yeah, just imagine.....every single gear in the car strips at once!

I'm having a hard enough time with my 6800 in my 18MT right now, the shocks puked all the oil out, so it's lifting the front left wheel and skidding every time I hit full throttle......never thought I'd have to deal with torque twist on that truck!

Go for associated's. They're good overall.

I've heard only bad stuff about the little Kyoshos from the guys that come into Hobby People, they wish they'd just gone with the 18t instead of it.

These batts will be a direct fit it seems. I'm now looking for a charger can can charge these lypo packs and some 8 cell gp 3300's. WOuld you still recommend the brain 989?

Just a few thoughts here.
The Mamba 6800 is more than enough with a 3 cell LiPo in the RS4. With my M18, at three quarter throttle, if I would punch it, the car would immediately flip over. You need a lot of room to get a full speed run with the 6800 and I am not sure what the 8000 would get you in the RS4. In a truck it would be a little different but the 8000 has less torque than the 6800 so you have to factor that in also. IMO, the Kysoho Mini Inferno is EXCELLENT and I have been running a two cell LiPo in that with a Mamba 6800. I wanted a little more speed out of it though and just upgraded to the Warp 2 motor with a 3 cell LiPo.
